Student Council is a wonderful opportunity to act as a role model for other students and learn to be a leader. They help share students’ ideas, interests and concerns with the teachers and principal. Being on Student Council allows council members to implement fun, new ideas and activities that the entire student body can enjoy.

In Student Council, you will be involved in many projects that contribute to the school and the community, while having fun at the same time! Being on Student Council is something that will help our students become responsible and active members of the community.

If you choose to run for Student Council and are elected, you must be prepared to do the following:

  • Attend a monthly meeting. Meetings typically last 1 hour. Sometimes we will need to meet more than once a month.
  • Participate and contribute to activities that may be held before, during and/or after school.
  • Maintain passing grades and acceptable conduct each grading period.
