In 1984 I received both my Lutheran Teacher's Diploma from Concordia, Seward, and my Bachelor of Science degree in elementary education from Mount Mercy. I served as 3rd-5th grade teacher at Saint Paul's Lutheran School in Latimer, Iowa from 1984-1986. In 1986 I accepted the Call to Central Lutheran and taught 5th-6th grade here until 1990. After staying home for many years to care for our sons full-time, I came back here to teach part-time in 2003. Since then I've taught a variety of subjects and serve as Resource Room teacher.

I love the Christian atmosphere here at Central and feel blessed to share Christ's love with my students. My favorite part of teaching is developing relationships with the children and seeing them grow and accomplish new things.

Much of my time away from school is spent at our church where I serve as organist and choir director. I also enjoy attending my sons' activities and am grateful for all time spent with my family.
