No Tuition for 4 yr-old Preschool!! (7/30/2007)

Central Lutheran School, in collaboration with Benton Community Schools, is happy to announce that, via a grant from the State of Iowa, we will be offering tuition-free 4 yr-old preschool (registration and milk fees still apply).  We are still accepting students - Space is limited.

Incredible Service Opportunity at CLS:

CLS is looking for individuals (stay at home moms, grandfathers, grandmothers, those wanting to get out of the house) to volunteer small amounts of time in our 4-year-old Preschool class. Time may be spent helping at snack time, center time, with an art project, or reading to a group of children (being an extra set of hands). Days and times we are looking for are on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday mornings from 9:00-11:00. If you have any interest in volunteering at least on day please call Becky McKinney at 223-5271 or 223-7479. This is a great opportunity to become involved in the school ministry and make a difference in a child's life!

SCRIP continues to offer the Central Account Incentive Program (CAIP)

An exciting program established to increase contributions to several accounts at Central through the purchase of SCRIP.  Those ordering SCRIP have the option to designate up to 40% of funds earned to the account of their choice.  Accounts that can or will receive contributions are:  Individual Tuition Accounts, General Budget, General Budget responsibilities for one of the Associate Congregations, SCRIP Special Projects, Endowment, SPICE and Individual Classroom Accounts (for classroom supplies, etc. that the teachers have been covering out of their own pockets).  Please see one of the SCRIP Coordinators for more details or check out the CAIP documentation on the Forms-Docs-Links webpage.  Thank You for supporting Central through SCRIP!!
